So honestly today was not the best class so far like in terms of amount of things I finished, I was working on two things the entire class and unfortunately I was not able to fix it the way I really wanted it. Firstly I wanted to delete my keyframe because it was missing up my poses, each time I started the timeline from the beginning it missed up the pose of the character. Another thing that I wanted to get done which I found a solution to almost at the end of the lesson was a tutorial exactly about what I wanted to figure out. It was talking about how to control the bones exactly the way I want them to move. Because every time I moved the bones of my character it would move everything and everywhere, But during one of the days before I travel I will try my best to work and finish the tutorial so that I have my character and his bones ready and setup so when we come back to school I would be able to move around my character and play around with it a little it. Hopefully this would turn out to be pretty good.

So today I worked on adding bones to the character which unfortunately took the entire block, But at least I was able to finish it and play around with it a little. It took me a long time because in order to add bones to something the parts of the body on both sides must be equal and proportional so I had to work on mine for a little Until I got it to work very nicely. But unfortunately I came across a problem just like I always do. Whenever I want to recored a pose like the man walking in a straight line it doesn't work because I already have an animation in my keyframe and it is not letting me to delete it. But When I am able to delete it than I should be able to start the recording. Hopefully next class. Here is a picture of the bones.

Today I got a lot done, At first I went and looked for the clock that I had made on the desktop computer, thankfully I had it saved as a blender file somewhere so I used my USB to transfer it to my laptop. Than I opened up the first character that I made and copied the clock and added it, I also copied the table I made last class and that also worked. Things worked out very well. Until i came up with a problem, As I was rendering the file to see how it looked like the character and the table looked fine but for the clock the only thing I could see was the shadow of it. So than I tried many things to fix it like adding light in various area but that also didn't help me. So than while I was searching on google what to do I came across the same identical clock that I had made but the only difference was the colour. I was able to download it because it was a blender file and it surprisingly worked perfectly. So I deleted the clock that I made and inserted this new one. Than I added colour to the character and it ended up looking like this. Overall it it was a good class

So today was very good class, In my opinion i got a lot done. At first I tried working on copying the character which failed so I'm gonna wait until I talk to Nabil. After that I decided to start creating a table for my project where the clock is going to be seated. That took most of the class to do. So 2 days ago I had asked Nabil to check and see if he still had his blender file from last year so that he could send to me. So he found it and send it to me yesterday, today when I entered class I started downloading the file he gave to the desktop computer at school so that I could copy the character from his movie into my scene on a different blender file. Things did not work so good, Everything was working perfectly well i had copied the character and started to add some bones which was looking like this which is pretty good.
Until after when I changed the mode from edited more to object mode it completely messed up for some reason and I still haven't figured how to solve it. It looked like this afterwards
So I went and talked to Nabil about it and he said that he is gonna try to help me try and fix it. Since he had the same problems when he was doing this.

So today I was able to figure out how to add sound to my project. The reason why it was not working in the end of last class was because I was adding a sound to a game. Since I have decided to make a video out of the animation I have to know everything that is needed to be in the video. For example sound is important also moving the objects is important that i am now also able to do. I practiced moving objects today which works will for me. All thats left until i start my project is adding and moving bones for the character which Im planing on doing next class. I am also planing on ask Nabil wither he still has his animated character from last year that I would be able to use. His character is exactly the sort of thing that I need. So until next class I am going to ask him to send it to me.

So today was a successful class as well, I started off the class by re watching the tutorial that I watched last class. But this time I actually also tried making the camera move and in addition the camera I learned how to make the character move through out the camera movement. I also decided to record my screen in order to upload it do my blog so I downloaded Quicktime player for Pc but unfortunately that didn't work out. Instead I tried something I have tried yet I send the edited version the mail from the Pc to my Mac. Which worked very nicely and i was able to record my screen from my laptop. I also watch a couple of tutorial to teach me how to add a background song to the animation. I had some trouble figuring that out. But by next class I would defiantly know how to add a song.

So today I took a portion of the class working on the mid term report, Than I started looking for some useful video that i might be able to incorporate in my final project. I came across a very useful tutorial which takes about how to make the animation objects move around and how to move the camera to be able to capture some specific thing you want and crop the rest of the things that you don't want in that spacifc scene:

So today I watched how to make a simple character in blender using this tutorial, this is the link were I watched it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDzoIUfUH8I . This was quit useful for me since now I learned how to make a person and also I learned how to make poses for the charter to move. I learned that you make the charter move by adding some bones. In order to move the make the character move you have to select each bone and move it were ever you want to. This well be important for my final project since I can make my charter move around. Today was a good and successful class in terms how much I got done. At first I consulted about my project and how I am going to do and what I am going to do. For now my plan is to record myself in bed waking up from the alarm which is next to my bed. After the video of me is finished I am going to try and put the animated version of it. Which well hopefully turn out nice. Today I concluded the second part of the clock tutorial which is looking good. The only thing I have to add to it is the numbers which is not so important at the moment.

So today the class was not so successful and I did not finish what I was hoping to finish by this class. Mainly due to the wifi my since my tutorial was not loading so I could not watch it. A came across of a problem that i was stuck on most of todays class and I am not sure how to solve it since I followed the tutorial step by step. I will try to figure out a solution during this long weekend either my asking Nabil or searching google for answer.
So last class I started working on the first part of the clock animation. I got around half way through the first and my aim is to finish the first video by the end of next class. I started t a few time but for some reason it did not save that's why I did not get to far. And also I ha enjoyed my ankle which took a lot of time waiting for the nurse to arrive.

At the start of class today my computer was having some volume issues, So I restarted and decided to work on my laptop and try it out because If I use the desktop only than I will have trouble working on it at home. Than I started watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39-CWSn_kms.

So today I continued to watch some basic tutorial that might help me later on in this unit. I practiced a bit for myself seeing what I have learned and things like that. And then I wanted to watch a tutorial on how to make a basic face structure because that is something that i would like to know. So the video was pretty long and it was pretty clear and straight forward. But in some parts I didn't know what she was talking about so I had to bring it back and replay. This is how my final result turned out, I stopped the video half way in because it was going in to much detail.

Blender
Today was the first class of the second quarter. Today I started with blender so I downloaded blender on the school desktop and also on my Mac laptop. My plan is that I start something at school and send it to my email and finish it up at home. So today I watched a very basic tutorial to how to make a coffee cup. It was a pretty long video, But i did pretty well for my first time. My only problem was making the handle. This is how it turned out to look like.
